Available Address Verification modes
Address Verification for Dataverse (Power Apps & Dynamics 365) offers three ways to verify addresses.
- Address Autocomplete : inline verification, with a control that are seamlessly integrated in the user interface.
The example above shows the user interface using Melissa Express Entry. Note that the user experience (country selection and search bar), the completeness and quality of the data varies based on the API used.
- Address Validate Button : Enter address information, then click on the verification button to launch the verification. This process will verify the address, return the result(s) and allow you to make additional changes prior to updating the Dynamics 365 / Power Apps record.
- Background Process Validation : Configure a workflow that uses the Sharp XRM Custom action to verify addresses in the background, and control how you want to use the verified address returned as a result.
